Since starting the blog 10 days ago, I've written more than 24,000 words across my different posts. While most posts have been about Old Path White Clouds, the Buddhist text by Thich Nhat Hanh at the heart of this project, I've started to develop other, related threads and open new registers of expression. Here are some of the highlights, the pieces I'm most proud of so far:
"ChatGPT Gaslighting" Series: Darkly funny, psychoanalytic, and politically urgent, this series tracks the architecture of co-constructed hallucination and the complexities of desire mapping and mirroring in LLM structures. If you're interested, here are the links for that series, in the order I wrote them.
ChatGPT Gaslighting: Annotated, Mapped, Explained in its Tragicomedy
From GPT Mirrors to Buddhist Thresholds: Montage-Meditation I
From GPT Mirrors to Buddhist Thresholds: Montage-Meditation II
Part IV (A Guide to Curving the GPT Mirror) and Part V (Cross-Dissolve) coming soon.
"The Sutras, According to Effie White" Series: Buddhism meets the movie musical Dreamgirls in a close reading of the showstopping number, "(And I Am Telling You) I'm Not Going). A blend of mythopoetics, frame-by-frame visual analysis, and Buddhist teachings, this text theorizes Effie's devotional grief as praxis. Here are the links:
