Drew's Buddhist Practice

Drew was a Buddhist for nearly a decade, and his commitment to the practice intensified during his illness, as it helped him make sense of his suffering, survive it, and teach those around him about its key principles, including impermanence, love, and devotion.

To honor this deeply significant part of Drew's life and legacy, this section will discuss his Buddhist practice, including the philosophies and texts that were most influential and transformative for him.

Much more information is forthcoming, but the text Drew recommended to all those around him—the one that helped him through the last six months of his life—was Thich Nhat Hanh's Old Path White Clouds.
