IN-PROGRESS: 1/5/26

To inaugurate my 2026 blog archive, I've decided to present a more free-form, hodgepodge stream of consciousness text that captures what I've been thinking about over the past few days in my little sequestration and silence. I'm not promising that it will be anything spectacular, but I'm excited to see where it goes without the pressure of arriving at any particular destination. I will sit down and write for approximately 45-60 minutes uninterrupted later tonight, then I'll publish whatever emerges. Given how many ideas and insights have been percolating in recent days, I'm eager to let the writing flow and begin to articulate what's wanting to be said about the opening beats of 2026.
