EXCITING UPDATE: Drew To Be Honored at His Alma Mater, The Bromfield School

I'm thrilled (and profoundly relieved) to report that I've been in touch with Drew's alma mater, The Bromfield School, and beginning next month I'll be working with them to coordinate a multipronged memorial project. While nothing has been concretized yet, ideas currently on the table include an honorary plaque, a sportsmanship/leadership scholarship/award, and a memorial tennis tournament. I'll also be coordinating with the School to gather writings/reflections/memories about Drew from his former teachers, classmates, teammates, and coaches that will be added to this website in the coming weeks and months.

This is such a RELIEF and an energizer for me. I'm so glad that Drew will be given the institutional honors and lasting legacy that he so rightly deserves. Sweet as this little website is so far, its reach is limited compared to the impact this kind of public-facing memorial will have. I will share additional updates as soon as there's more concrete information.

More writing is forthcoming; I paused my schedule briefly (for a good reason, I'd say) but plan to continue this afternoon as planned.
